Happy Birthday Roly Fenwick

Happy Birthday to Roly Fenwick

Roly Fenwick was born on Feburary 4, 1932 in Owen Sound, ON. After studying art at Mount Allison University under Alex Colville, Roly moved to Toronto where he was the Art Director of the Simpson Sears Catalogue from 1956-66.

In 1967, Tony Urquhart was setting up the visual arts department at the University of Western Ontario and invited his friend Roly to London. Roly decided to stay in London, and became one of the first visual arts professors in the department. Throughout his 22 year career, Fenwick touched countless student’s lives through his gentle teaching style and common words of widsom.

Since 1997, we have had 9 solo exhibitions for Roly. His talent as a painter continues to amaze us. His paintings touch our (and our client’s) lives daily. Have a wonderful birthday Roly.
