James King Book Signing at 2/Edition Art Book Fair

James King

Please join Michael Gibson Gallery and author James King for a book signing of his new Greg Curnoe biography on Saturday, October 28 from 2-3pm at 2/edition Art Book Fair, Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

James King’s long-awaited book on Greg Curnoe is the first full-length biography on the artist.  For the past four years, King has absorbed himself in everything Curnoe, researching his life, examining his art and talking to the people who knew Greg best.  The beautifully illustrated book is a chronological biography of a Canadian iconoclast who was well known for his original artistic talent as well as his rebellious spirit.   King creates a vivid portrait of Curnoe’s private and public life, giving the reader an excellent background on what makes Curnoe one of Canada’s most intriguing artists.

James King will be present at 2/Edition Art Book Fair from 2-3pm on Saturday, October 28 to sign copies of “The Way It Is”.  The book will be available for sale at the signing.
