On a beautiful June evening, we welcomed Montreal painter Michael Smith back to the gallery for the opening of his 5th solo exhibition at the gallery. “Fugitive Ground” includes abstracted landscape paintings that tell a history of moments where atmospheric conditions have made claims on particular places.
