New: Colin Muir Dorward Paintings
New Colin Muir Dorward paintings will be featured in our Art Toronto booth.
Colin Muir Dorward, born in Edmonton in 1979, obtained his BFA from Emily Carr University in 2007 and his MFA from the University of Ottawa. He is currently completing his PHD in Visual Arts at Western University.
Dorward was selected as a finalist in the 2012 RBC Painting Competition, and won th $15,000 purchase prize and Honorable Mention in the 2013 competition. In the fall of 2014, he was awarded the Robert and Isabel Pope Painter’s Residency at NSCAD University.
He has exhibited across Canada, at venues including the National Gallery of Canada, SAW Gallery, Carleton University Art Gallery, The Power Plant, and The Anna Leonowens Gallery. His work is held in numerous private and public art collections, including the RBC Corporate Art Collection, National Gallery of Canada and the City of Ottawa Art Collection.
