Susan Dobson had a solo exhibition of her “Viewfinder” photographs at Gallery Stratford, was featured on the cover of Prefix Photo Magazine and was included in Fotonoviembre 2017 in Tenerife, Spain (seen above).

Aganetha Dyck completed her two-year, long-distance collaboration with the beekeepers at Temple University, Philadelphia and was included in “Animal Intent”, a show at apexart in NYC. We are also pleased that two of Dyck’s figurines from her “Masked Ball Series” were acquired by Global Affairs this year.
The “Eyes as Big as Plates” photographers Riitta Ikonen and Karoline Hjorth launched their book featuring the photographs from the series. The book was listed as a top holiday gift by New York Magazine. Buy book HERE
Murray Favro enjoyed a solo exhibition at the Glenhyrst Art Gallery in Brantford.
Canada 150 celebrations at public galleries were plentiful this year, with Will Gorlitz, Jason McLean and Diana Thorneycroft all included in exhibitions at the National Gallery of Canada. Will Gorlitz and Michael Smith were included in the Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s celebration of their permanent collection and re-hang.

Museum London organized a major retrospective for Brian Jones, the first in over 25 years.
James Kirkpatrick had an exhibition of his sound sculptures at NAISA North Media Arts Centre, an exhibition in Halifax and a pop-up show in London. Kirkpatrick is busy preparing for his upcoming touring survey exhibition starting at JNAAG in Sarnia in November 2018.
