Aganetha Dyck at the Field Museum

Aganetha Dyck

Hive Scans, a collaborative body of work by Aganetha and her son, Richard Dyck has been included in a traveling contemporary art exhibition entitled “Nature’s Toolbox: Biodiversity, Art and Invention”.

The exhibition “links nature’s bounty to our everyday activities and challenges. It shows how biodiversity contributes to the quality of our lives through a mindboggling range of ‘technologies’ that are elegant in their simplicity, remarkable in their ingenuity, and sustainable in their impacts. It helps viewers understand and respect the power and beauty of nature’s genius — the 3.8 billion years of Earth’s ‘research development’ that comprise life’s operating instructions and the design of our world.”
