The show consists of nearly 70 works reflecting on land, myth, the natural environment, craft, and social politics through the mediums of video, painting, collage, installation and drawing. The exhibition’s curator is Jayne Holsinger.

Artists include: Teresa Braun, Aganetha Dyck, Jen Dyck, William Frymire, Laura Hargrave, Jayne Holsinger, Royden Josephson, Ann Kipling, Steve Mennie, Julie Oakes, Marie Scott, Tricia Sellmer

The group comes primarily from the British Columbia interior, with 2 artists from Manitoba. Following on the heels of the 2012 exhibition Oh, Canada at MASS MoCA, Oh, Canada/New York continues to highlight the bounty of creative work currently being practiced in Canada and largely absent from the New York scene.

Oh, Canada/New York is part of a cultural exchange and dialogue between the Westbeth Artist Residents and Kamloops, British Columbia. In 2016 a select number of Westbeth visual artists will be exhibiting at Chazou Gallery in Kamloops.
