Arne Vodder (1926-2009), Danish Teak Sideboard with Tambour Doors, Model 76, 33 x 98 x 19 1/2 in.
Along with Vernor Panton, cabinetmaker and architect Arne Vodder was a leading light of what might be called the “second generation” of forward-thinking 20th-century Danish furniture designers. His Model 76 Teak Sideboard new to the gallery, features a teak case on a plinth base, a leather pull out writing surface, 5 drawers, adjustable shelving and twin sliding tambour doors.
