Our Expanding Book Collection

We were recently gifted 20 boxes of art books and catalogues from former Senior Curator of RBC, Robin Anthony.  Knowing that we already had an extensive book collection which is used for research and appraisals, Anthony’s generosity has added Canadian conceptual and West Coast artists into our mix.  Thank you Robin!

Over the years we have been fortunate to receive books from the artist estates of Greg Curnoe, Brian Jones, Clark McDougall and Bernice Vincent.  Our broad international collection is indebted to Professor Ross Woodman’s deep passion for learning and his love of collecting.  Each book collection, like an art collection, is a reflection of each owner.  As libraries de-accession books (or worse), we invite art book lovers to visit to discover something new amongst our shelves.
