Michael Snow‘s highly acclaimed and influential career spans all media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, film, video projection, sound art, bookmaking and experimental music. He moved to New York City in 1961, with his then wife, the artist Joyce Wieland, and established himself as a leader of avant-garde filmmaking, while continuing to push the boundaries of sculpture, photography and music.
