“Early Snow: Michael Snow 1947-1962” is the first exhibition to focus exclusively on the Canadian artist’s early formative years. The Art Gallery of Hamilton’s 2020 exhibition included over 40 works and reflected Snow’s broad and diverse creative practice. Guest curated by James King, Professor, Department of English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University, the exhibition featured an ambitious range of media including painting, sculpture, film, video, and works on paper.
